At the March 25, 2026 PSPRS Board of Trustees meeting, the board voted 9-0 (motion Papp / Moore) to approve staff's recommendation to initiate a Request for Information (RFI) to retain an independent investment advisory firm to provide general investment consulting services. CIO Mark Steed and IC Chair Harry Papp gave background and referenced the relationship with incumbent consultant NEPC; the RFI launches July 1 with responses due August 1.
